When doctors told me I'm limited to 1500 cc of fluid a day. What's that? About a bottle of JB a day? I'm good.

At age 19-21 I was an alcoholic.

I drank before work. I drank after work. I drank during class. I drank between classes.

At no point did I ever get a hangover.

I met my wife, corrected the problem, and drink fairly sparingly these days. Around age 25 I got my first hangover after drinking a fifth of 100 proof with an intestinal virus. From that point on Ive had a few others.

I only drink a drink in the evenings once a week, I only drink with friends once a month or so. In excess, maybe once a year.

Every single time I have more than 15-20 drinks in a sitting, I end up violently ill the next day.

When I remember I used to be able to drink a handle of liqour in under a few hours, I have no idea how I used to do it.

Probably about 23-24 is when I noticed I didn't recover as quick as I used to in hs or college, it gets worse every year. I'm 35 now and can't hardly drink two days in a row, and I don't recover from the hangover until thursday. If I do manage to get drunk two days in a row, it takes a full week to recover. It's terrible.

You don't even want to know the answer to this.

When I started adding pills to the equation...

Add some benzos or opiates to the mix, and you'll pass out or die way before you drink enough to get a hangover.

At age 28.

For instance, attended a company Christmas party Friday night. Stayed out until 2:30. I probably had 2 bottles of wine from 4 pm-1 am. Plus a random mixed drink at a bar.

Moral of story: I just started feeling like a human being again around 3 today, almost 48 hours later. I cannot hang. I suck. I hate hangovers.

I drink a glass of wine pretty much every day, maybe save for Monday's and Tuesday's..

When I binge drank in college I only did it maybe once a week or every couple of weeks. I have way more tolerance now, but the hangovers are horrific.

I'll never forget staying up until 4 am drinking/dancing with friends, then popping out of bed around 7-8 for a full day of tigerband gameday activities.

If I tried that today I would likely pass out and need IV fluids.

Ehh, I'd argue the other way around

Unless it's your first time popping a lortab while drinking

And for the OP, started around 25 or 26. Could still drink the same amounts on a night out, it was the next 24-36 hours that get progressively worse

The older I get, the more I can drink. Not sure if it's a blessing or a curse.

I don't know when it started but I can have one drink and wake up the next day with a headache. The enjoyment of being buzzed just ain't worth it.

if i could drink like I could when i was 21 that would be amazing.

It's so fricking hard to pinpoint when my tolerance went down.

sometimes it doesn't feel any different.

just longer breaks in between drinks and maybe more sips of water along the way? probably.

I shoot tequila though.

i know.

what a fricking moron.
