They go out drinking hard? With the intent to get shite faced? That's what I'm referring to. If so, that's pathetic. If it's out for a few beers after work, I'm ok with that, although I don't even do that now.
Sorry if I wasn't clear enough

Yes
Why is that pathetic?

Aren't you a little young to be having this problem?

If you never stop drinking you'll never have a hangover

My best friend is a doctor and he gets hammered when he drinks. He works his arse off all day though and sometimes goes straight from his office to a speaking engagement so I'm not going to judge him or brand him for his drinking habits on the weekend.

25 or so is probably when it really began to become noticeable. But manageable.
By 29 or so, it became more of an issue. Meaning, I'd purposefully avoid it and couldn't really string consecutive drinking days together very well. I can still drink beer like the old days, and if I mix in water I'll be alright. I try and avoid liquor if I'm going to be drinking for multiple hours, though.

f you can remember the exact amount of drinks you had the next morning, then you were never really a drinker
fricking this.
I also love the "take an advil and drink water before bed" crowd.
If I can think about doing this before crashing then I am no where near drunk enough to get a hangover.

My wife always remembers. And I definitely forget a fair amount about Advil, but it took years to train myself to drink water at night. I won't remember doing it but I'll do it. Its like remembering to take my clothes off before getting in bed, second nature. But like taking clothes off, I do occasionally get drunk enough to forget.

This thread is full of cool guys who can drink.
Question: why do so many people like to brag about how much they can drink? Y'all sound like complete losers.

Losers are people who judge others for doing something they find fun that harms no one.

You sound like quite the tool. We're in our fricking 20s, and judging from my parents and my friends' parents, I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. Sorry if people looking to have a good time means they're pathetic if they like getting drunk every once in a while.

Losers are people who do things that they think others care about that they have to broadcast to the world.
If you like to drink, just drink. Why brag about how much you can drink?
It's just as laughable as crosfitters and vegans

We're not fricking bragging about it. We're just saying we enjoy going out and getting drunk with our friends. And you're calling us pathetic in return. You're a judgemental tool who wouldn't know a good time if it slapped you in the face.
