You lucked out on this. Something to be said for a good meal alone occasionally (from a happily married man). It's very peaceful.

Trying yourself down to a nice dinner with someone is somewhat outdated I’d think, sure maybe it’s a free dinner for her. But I’d assume most woman would rather know you a little better and just do a couple drinks or coffee before committing to 2 hours of dinner with someone on a Saturday night.

You'd be surprised at how many women have on their dating app profile something along the lines of "I want to be taken out for a REAL date, not just meet for drinks"

At least they make the red flag known from the get go. Because you know by "REAL date" they mean dinner at a restaurant that's going to cost you close to $200 for dinner with a cocktail or 2.

Oh the steak was awesome. I got to watch the end of the LSU game which was infuriating but I made some new friends at the bar. So not a bad night overall.

I told nurse and medical assistants what happened and they agreed with yall about the nudes being for someone else. They also promised me that they would get the details about the girl out there about the girl being a crazy whore running a roster there for the public.

Yes it does but the alternatives ain’t any. One of my nurses tried to set me up with her friend from church who turned out to be an ultra religious (34 years old who claims to be waiting for marriage) strange girl. Her anxiety was so bad that she would spend all day baking or preparing stuff for church the next day only to throw it away because she got nervous that people at church would not like it. When it did not work out my nurse got mad at me for not being more understanding of her needs.

Yeah it’s either younger girls with daddy issues which are fun, batshite crazy, or single moms.

Online dating makes it easier for people to dehumanize who they're talking to.

Online dating makes chicks even crazier than normal. I met a chick on one of the apps. We were texting, it was going pretty well, knew some of the same people, etc.. of course I don’t use my real name on those things so I told her it’s a nickname. FB gives her a suggested friend thingy and she sees my profile. She couldn’t see anything because it’s on lockdown. She screenshots it and asks me if it was me. I say yes because I didn’t think a thing of it. She gets majorly pissed and accuses me of lying about my real name. WTF?! Maybe she thought I was ugly but regardless, chicks are insane.

First off. It's not just dating. You can make a deal with a contractor for a job and today its 50/50 if he shows up or not.

Society has lost its manners and slowly loosing its moral compass.

But... this guy here is spot on my friend.

what she really meant was she went out with another guy and it didnt go well so now she is back to you for dinner at a later date.

Look at the bright side, at least she did all the "dodging the bullet" work for you. People like her are beyond fixable. I bet she cries to her friends that she has no idea why she is single too.

The increase of people who are completely incapable of being in a monogamous sustainable relationship is at levels that threaten western society.

You just experienced one of them.

They’re conditioned in a way that makes them completely unsuited to be around for any period of time and that’s before you get into political, cultural and societal shifts that make other factors even worse.

The hard truth is that women on a dating app have so many short term options that it’s almost not worth worrying about why she chose to no show, it likely had nothing to do with you and everything to do with with some situationship or unicorn she’s chasing giving her enough attention to ghost.

I mean they’ve figured out that the same scam they grew up running at bars to get free drinks works to get them free $200 dinners on dates.

Feminism has broken all male-female conventions and norms and I’m not at all sure if I were a 25 year old whether I’d ever date seriously unless something too good to pass up dropped into my lap because the stories I hear are insane.

Play I would make as well.

At this point she’s exposed herself as nothing more than a pump and dump fling. Depending how much time you have invested, toss a line out, give her shite about standing you up, and see if you can get a night out two out of it while working on something else.

She did you a favor by not showing up. I went through a divorce a few years ago and I did the stereotypical thing where I hit the gym and got in shape and hit the dating apps. I went on more than my share of dates and the ones who show nudes that quickly are always batshit crazy. Its a huge red flag.

How old is she? Age really does help determine what could be going on here.

my man...same page

At least he can find out what the "bad vibe" was to "show" her he is willing to work on it. Then prove her right by hittin' and quittin'

Maybe if their pics appeared to be of casual, everyday life. Not when their pics are all of them dressed to the nines and looking like they were taken in fine dining restaurants or at a black tie event.
