Ah yes. We are all very jealous of your vegan, Dallas lifestyle. You are so much more cultured than the rest of us. Merry Christmas you filthy animal.

Been hearing them most of the night. Can't remember ever hearing that before this year.
There's some neighbor that shoots off one shell or whatever every single saints and LSU score as well.
Like I get popping a few off if you just won a championship or something but you don't need the fireworks after scoring our 35th point vs arkansas.

“Friend” of mine posted Facebook live video in that nearby region around that time. What an a-hole. I can give you his info; you can go punch him in the brain.

By "southern" do you mean south of the border? If so, then yes. It is trashy, but not white trash.
It's been going on the last couple years in Houston. 5 years at the most. Reports of it all over town tonight.

There’s no y’all. He said “a guy”. Buuuuut....
Better than shooting your neighbor like some do? Right?

it is a very old tradition in parts of the south. For many years after the Civil War folks in the south would not celebrate the 4th of July and would do fireworks at Christmas instead. I remember my father telling me they would get firecrackers for Christmas when he was a child in the 1930s in rural Bienville Parish

I don't, but some shoot off after every saint's touchdown.
And after every LSU win, sounded like WW3 when we beat the Gumps.

Mid City here and they were lighting them up a bit last night after the wife and I got home from a family and friends party.

Never experienced this until I went to my girlfriend's (now wife's) house for Christmas. She lived down the bayou. Apparently, it's a thing
