ever saw a candy egg. Before the egg hunt we dyed all the eggs with food coloring, vinegar and water.

We would dye eggs too, but I've never heard of those real eggs being hidden in the yard. Seems like a really bad idea in certain climates.

So holy week goes from psalm Sunday all the way to diarrhea Tuesday?

that picture you posted isn't an easter egg hunt, it's an easter egg scramble. I imagine many people doing these at home for their families do still hide the eggs, but when you're talking large scale events that are put on by cities for their community, often in a large field or open space area, where exactly do you want them to hide them?

The large Easter egg hunts have always been just eggs everywhere. I remember some from when I was little in the early 80s. They usually hid special eggs with money or something in them, but the rest of the plastic eggs with candy were just thrown everywhere. You can’t hide all the eggs when you have tons of kids and age groups participating.

We still hide eggs for our kids/friend’s kids at a small one we do for ourselves.

Brayton, Braxton and Makaylalynn just wanna have fun. We got a photoshoot at 12. No time to be looking for eggs all day. Plus the babies can't have gluten so bring plastic only.

My parents would put money in the eggs all coin change. They hid them well.

One egg would have a 20 dollar bill in it. You won if you got it

A neighbor hid eggs inside the house one rainy Easter. Two months later she had an exterminator come to locate the dead animal, that she was convinced was under the house.

Moral: Always count the number of eggs that are hidden and found inside the house.

Bad egg was in a hall behind a small table.

Big baller.

We would a like 5-8 with a dollar in them, paper or silver, then one with a $5er. That one caused fist fights.
