My parents always gave me a couple small gifts for Easter. Got my oldest some packs of cards and water balloons, youngest got a paw patrol toy

I always got a dozen baseballs for Easter. My in laws give the kids bathing suits and beach stuff.

We got the occasion small item other than candy and maybe clothes to wear to church back in the day. I’m 58 and grew up poor. I do recall some folks getting Easter outfits every Easter but not actual presents.

Nearly 20 years. Just another example of how US citizens have too much income from our stock market shares due to outsourcing everything to China, India, Hungary, etc. We're a fat, rich, spoiled kid that is used to doing what we please because we let downtrodden foreigners do the grunt work, while we sit in air conditioned offices checking our that ETF price on our iPhone.

My 5 year old nephew got candy, a LEGO bat mobile and a new little tackle box.
ETA: My parents always did candy and a few fishing lures because we were all about fishing. Good times. I’ve been thinking about dad a lot lately. Wish my brothers and I could spend another day at the camp in Grand Isle fishing with him.
