Papa John's was amazing a couple years ago. It's still my go to bc of the coupons and it only being a mile away. But Dominos switch up their ingredients like 5 years ago and every since then it is the best chain pizza

I find Johnny's far superior to Domino's. Heck, I consider Costco superior to Domino's.

I prefer Johnny's. I think their crust is far better than any cheap pizza out there, but the toppings still kind of suck. It might be an arbitrary way of thinking because I agree with you that Johnny's is better, but they are still the same tier to me. If I'm going cheap they aren't far off from interchangeable to me. It probably says something that you can't get much better, to my knowledge, without spending significantly more.

Obviously I'd choose most local joints.. especially neopolitan crusts.. over Domino's, but they don't deliver at 2 AM.

Same for me

any time of the day when I want good stuff I have:

Valentinos

otherwise, dominos Brooklyn or pizza hut pan will do

Papa johns is to dominoes ad Popeye's is to Church's

Papa johns is a tier better in quality. This is why papa johns pizza costs twice as much as dominoes. You won't find a $5 medium pizza at papa johns.

Well truthfully, they did this when they adapted the Oz Principle.

Oz Principle Book

Teaches taking accountability for actions, hence the "we sucked but we're gonna get better" commercials.

Dominos deserves credit for righting the ship with changes to the sauce and crust. Pizza Hut was ruined for me when I ate it 4 times a week in the 8th grade cafeteria. Papa John's can gtfo.

If Domino's were the only pizza chain on earth, I would never order pizza. It boggles my mind every time my daughter and her friends want us to order it. There are literally 10 better places within 5 miles of my house.

Like I said, I haven't eaten at Domino's since they have made changes, but the last time I did, they could have taken the box it was in, covered it with cheese and other toppings.. and it would have been just as good as the shite I ate.

As far as ease of use for the App and low price Dominos is great.

FTR, I've had Domino's twice in the last couple of years, but I probably hadn't eaten it for at least a decade before that. I had no real memory of what I used to eat in college to compare to the new, improved version, which I found to be a completely mediocre product that I won't give a third try.

I agree, Dominos is currently the best. Back in the 80s/early 90s Pizza Hut was far and away the best, but then they sacrificed quality for the almighty dollar and switched to frozen dough disks, which they still use, and it's not nearly as good. Dominos switched back to fresh dough and cheaper options and it's paying huge dividends. I still hope that PH will eventually follow suit, but since they're part of the low-quality conglomerate of PepsiCo with KFC and Taco Bell it'll likely never happen.

My rank:
Papa Johns ( I think papa John is a major creep, though)
Pizza Hut (although one by me sucks)
Dominos (none near me, but it always seemed cheap af)
Little Caesars (cheap af)

That "thick buttery crust" is nothing but a frozen dough disk that's been proofed inside a pan of pure vegetable oil. There is no butter involved, not even artificial butter flavor.

sometimes I'll order a pizza even if I'm not really in the mood just so I can watch the pizza tracker.

Let's be honest here. We all know that Regenelli's makes the worst pizza ever. Those employees must hate cheese.
