2002, senior in HS, when trying to decide my major in college, my Dad asked "well, what are you good at?" and I replied "well I placed 1st in state literary rally in Environmental Science" and thus my major and career path was chosen

When I realized I was graduating with a degree that didn't provide any immediate value in the market.
So, I decided to go to law school.
I guess you could say my life has been one bad choice after another.

27. When I realized being off for a minimum of 8 weeks a year plus holidays which will increase to 5 months a year and retirement at 52 sounds great.
I'll have enough capital to open my own hobby business doing fabrication. My wife will retire two years later. And we will have roughly 8k a month coming in from retirement alone.
In short, the only thing that will interfere with my plans is if I, or my wife, run for elected office.

After I worked for a small mortgage company during the boom. I then decided to go back and get my degree in finance. I learned so much and saw that I could make a ton of money by doing little work.

When I was in school to be a mechanical engineer and I realized I could make more money and graduate easier/sooner if I went into information systems.

Graduated with an econ degree ten years ago. Was probably afraid of corporate work and doing shite I didn't want to do. My head was all fricked up.
Did some construction work and working in a bar. Decided to try to get into medical school so got a job working in clinical research. Decided I didn't want to go to med school after getting accepted. Now I'm stuck and don't know what to do. It sucks being stuck.
On the other hand, I guess I do have a clean slate and am not really attached to anything.

Joined the Navy at 19. They trained me to do the job I do today in the civilian world.
