College : 1989. Met this beautiful woman who was short with a great body and nice body. Her family was from the philipeans.
Patricia was very intelligent and our dorm rooms were three doors down from each other. A co-ed dorm at a catholic university.
Patricia and I would talk every night and we even went on a date. I asked her later to go to the Spring Formal but she made it clear that we were going only “ as friends”. I bought her a dozen roses and we spent the evening at the Galleria ball room in Houston.
Needless to say she never let me kiss her or anything else. I felt foolish trying to win her over. Her roommate liked me me but my roommate was dating her ( Patricia’s roommate).
As it happens, the ladies that I was interested in rejected me and a few ladies that I did not find interesting were interested in me.

Dude everyone gets rejected. Man up and get the frick over it. Literally everyone has been told no, been blown off, or been broken up with. Quit wallowing in self pity and realize this is not a unique experience or event to you. The moment rejection no longer breaks your soul like the piece thin glass dropping onto concrete the less rejection you’ll experience.

Talking to this woman, and I think we are hitting it off. She laughs at my jokes, even getting the slap on the arm move. Told her let's go back to my place, she replies...sorry you don't get her wet. No biggie, went on to the next one, but that one stung a bit.
