re: Got my new hat for gameday

Never in my life have I ever seen a tiger that looks like Samuel L. Jackson...u til now.
Not her first rodeo. She can handle it.
I've been around this board since the days of Beans and Picc, so I was shocked that that picture fooled as many folks as it did. This new breed of OTers ain't cut from the same cloth as the old breed.

Massive disappointment with this thread. But super thankful for those who contributed to my question. The date was a lot of fun now I'm heading back home.
The date hasn't ended. The force is strong with this one.

But for the sake of an update.

• Red Zeppelin was the tits...great pizza.
• Tiger Paw did not have air hockey, so we ended up at Surge. I lost 2 of 3. ??
• BR Cade was a lot of fun. If you've not been, go. It's a fun time. Five dollar cover at the bar and you get to play all of the retro games for free. Pin ball you have to pay for...cool place.
• We also did a little antiquing while on Government.

10/10 had a great time. Thanks for all the recommendations. "Layla" and I had a blast.
Hey everyone! I could use a little local advice.

I’m coming into Baton Rouge this evening from out of town to take a girl out on our first date. We’ve been talking for about three months, and one of our ongoing jokes is that she swears she’s going to beat me at air hockey. I keep telling her she’s got no chance.

She's talked up Red Zeppelin Pizza, so we’re planning to have dinner there, and I’d love to keep the date fun and light by following it up with a few games of air hockey. Since I’m not familiar with the area, where would y’all recommend? Bonus points if it’s not too far from Red Zeppelin and has a well-maintained air hockey table.

Thanks in advance!

Maybe some small ones. The one they are building in Delhi is one of the largest structures on earth.

Holly Ridge, which is located between Delhi and Rayville, but yes...this is the largest construction site in the world right now. The overall footprint is roughly 4-5 miles long by about a half a mile to three quarters of a mile wide. It's a big arse site.

My house is about 4 miles, as the crew flies, from the site and the traffic is horrible, which js to be expected. I'm curious to see how it plays out over the next several years.

I am trying to sell my house now, because I don't want any part of what's going on here.
I was in the stands when Shaun Alexander introduced himself to the college football world. That game still pisses me off.
Dave Winnfield was really nice.

Dave Parker was not.

Mine was an awful game from Jordan Jefferson. I don't remember exactly what I said about him, but it got me my one and only ban hammer.

I was pretty pissed, so it might have been worth it. ??

I wonder how all Hurts owners are feeling this evening. Sucks to have such a key piece of the roster knocked out at such a critical time.

Fortunately for me, my opponent has him.

Buck Fama.

Every year.
I was going to mention how good he was at the high school level. I played against him, as we were in the same district. I played at Rayville. I have two aunts who taught at Winnsboro and they always spoke very highly of him as a person and student.

Ring the bell.

Harper gets his first and helps bring one back to Philly.
Calf injuries can Linger, so CMC could sit longer to make sure he's as healthy as possible before returning.

His backup, Jordan Mason, might be worth adding. He looked good last night against what I expected to be a stout Jets defense.
Shame on you for falling for that fake bullsh!t.

Look at estate sales, Facebook marketplace, LSU Facebook groups, etc. eBay is always an option but it's not my favorite place to find memorabilia.

Also, I'm looking for a pair of gold LSU football game pants, so if any of you have any leads on that, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks.
I'm going through this now. I pay $1900 in child support each month for my son.

I was able to keep the house through the property settlement, but in all honesty it's too much house for me and my son. I'm debating on whether I should sell it and downsize or keep it and try to make it work.

It sucks, but I know things are going to get better eventually. God doesn't take things from us that He doesn't intend on replacing with something better.

Hang in there.
