Only one thing I’ll give a pass on, and that’s riding a motorcycle with a higher seat height. Other than that, it’s pretty silly. If you aren’t comfortable in your own shoes (non-elevated) then you aren’t comfortable with who you are and nobody else will be either. OWN IT.

I don’t find it any more offensive than men who have fake tans or wear hair pieces. I think all of that is stupid but it doesn’t cause an emotional reaction for me like it apparently does for some.

I'm going salt and pepper and don't care. It sticks out like a sore thumb (see: Ryan Day) when you start coloring your hair and/or beard.
But shoe lifts are another level of insecurity. Probably on the level with stuffing something in your pants to make your package look bigger.
It goes to character. Desantis = cringy AF.
