re: What’s your opinion on breastfeeding in public?

I don’t have a problem with it, but I do wonder why some insist on doing it in super public places. There is always a way to find a more private area, even in a public place. It seems like some insist on open as possible simply for the attention and shock value. Also, it’s something most women can do, yet some of these breast feeders act like they have defeated the impossible.

Not one person has made even a passing comment to my wife for feeding any of our three kids. She covers herself and it’s very discreet. I’m sure in this attention whoring climate some will do anything they can to draw attention to themselves.

If you are 300 lbs and look like you haven't showered in a week, I'd rather you not expose yourself in a restaurant, or anywhere for that matter.

I think the problem is not the breastfeeding mom. It’s the people around her that are clearly misguided and have no right to be offended.

If you are a guy, and the mom is hot- it’s all good. Take a peek and enjoy. If the mom is not hot-just focus on the breast itself and do not look at the unattractive face and body around the fully engorged breast. Now, It’s all good.

If you are a woman- just focus on the uncovered breast and smile and lick your lips. That makes it better for all the men watching the two of you.

Problem solved? I think so.

Don’t care. Kid’s gotta eat. Better than screaming hungry babies.
