In OT speak, what the frick is going on in this poem?
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
BY ROBERT FROST
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

It's about hookers and blow in Vegas.

It's about suburban real estate development.

Some guy on a horse would like to sit back and watch the snow fall, but he's got a lot of shite to take care of first.

Oh gee only pick one of the most famous poems of all time.
The poem is supposed to appear to be simple and straightforward, but isn't.
It is about many things. The pull of nature/the wild vs Responsibility and society.
Life and death are also represented. The last 4 lines are the most important.
Did I do some homework for you?

Seems pretty straightforward.

Hes trespassing on someones hunting lease, presumably to trip on acid and watch the snow falling. Or to dump the body of another victim he serial killed. The reasons for stopping abound.

He has shite to do before he can stop and live in the moment and truly appreciate his life

...or before he dies.

Sounds like a dude who has some sorta shite to do. Important shite. It's weighing him down a bit and he stops to get the pressure off his back and takes a second to chill the frick out. He knows he's got work to do or he's being counted on to finish whatever it is so his conscious says, "look bitch, we can't take a damn break." Then he nuts up and goes about whatever it is that he needs to do.

My first thought exactly. Minus the acid.

He's staring at a ballers property

He's getting dark and depressed as he thinks about how that guy has everything and he himself is poor
quote:

To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
His horse is wondering what's gotten into this guy lately? Everything alright?
quote:
The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
He contemplates suicide to get out of the rat race, but ultimately realizes he has things to take care of and isn't ready for the big sleep.
