As somewhat of a coffee snob, here’s my go-to. Whole bean grinded then French press.

Use local roasters here in KC, but occasionally order from these guys. Red Bird Coffee. They don’t roast it until you order. Everyone I’ve gotten has been great

River Road whole bean dark roast, fresh ground every morning.

Took way too long for someone to mention the best BR coffee. Both Simple Joe and Louie's uses River Road. I use the Creole Roast

Community Chicory was all my Mom and dem drank. During Katrina power outage I drank Maxwell House French roast with my brother in law and switched over. Thats all my wife and I drank from that point forward.

Couple months back we picked up a combo setup, one side brews a pot the other takes K cups.

Wife still drinks the MHFR, I’ve taken a liking to the K cups. Tastes fresher to me. Great Value FR and a few drops of GV vanilla creamer. It’s good and inexpensive. In fact I’m going make a cup now.

I grew up on community dark roast. As I got older I preferred community medium roast or breakfast blend. Now I like the black rifle CAF. But I still like the community ones. Also, I've learned over the years that fresh ground coffee makes a huge difference. Being fresh ground is more important than the brand/blend.

Jamaica Blue Mountain is best coffee in world
This is surely a joke right? It's by far not the best in the world. It's expensive because of low supply, not b/c it's amazing. So many better origins in the world that are way better and much less expensive.

Folgers 1850 Black Gold, the first of the pot goes in my cup with honey and half and half for the drive in, the rest goes in my Stanley bottle for the rest of the day to be drunk black.

All the coffees listed here contain mold. Educate yourselves and get some mold free brands.
