Whats you worst airplane experience?

Pretty sure everyone has a few of these.
Had a connecting flight in Dallas to go to Vegas. Was pumped all week about it and crap. Nonetheless, before landing, pilot said the tarmac was backed up and there might be delays. That was an understatement...there were about 5 planes a head of us. Didn't get to the gate until about 30 minutes after my connecting flight left. Airport tried to stick me in a poo cheese hotel for the night. Luckily i have friends there.
Another time was that next morning when i was in the airport headed to my gate. When i get there, they changed the gate to another gate across the airport like 10 minutes prior. Here I am running and hoping on trams to get to the other gate. Make it there just in time to see the airplane back away from the terminal...
Luckily was able to get on another for free but still sucked at the time.

Ended up getting a flight to KC through Houston, renting a car in KC and driving to omaha.

I had to sit by someone with a kid. If you have kids you should be at home raising them not flying everywhere

Busting through the door and falling naked into the aisle while trying to join the mile high club

the most angry I have been was at a gate ticket taker in Chicago. Although the wife and I had different boarding zones I figured we could board together like we did in New Orleans with no issue. The bitch in Chicago got on the intercom and said "apparently people from Louisiana don't know how to count" and called me out in front of everyone
international flight to Costa Rica my buddy across the aisle farted, it smelled a lot worse than he thought it would, flight attendant though it was me because I was laughing and sprayed me down with lysol. I was not happy at the time but looking back it's kind of funny.

A crying 5-year old on my honeymoon flight to the Maldives. I think we did 18 hours in the air and 12 of it was spent listening to that little bastard.
I told the flight attendant that it was driving me crazy and she said "well you know how babies are." I said, "that kid is not a baby. That's a child."
The first politician who adds a children on airplanes ban to their platform will get my vote. I don't care what else they run on.

Landing in Edinborough, Scotland in high winds was scary as hell. It felt like we were making those radical pitches/yaws you see on youtube just prior to touching down.
We also aborted a landing VERY low while approaching BTR. We were about 2000 ft when the pilot guns the engines and we pull up. Decent amount of G's in the ascent but the kicker was when he idled the engines and leveled out. We had about 2-3 seconds of negative G's that really put some hair on your chest.
We skimmed over the top of Baton Rouge circling back and landed safely the second time. Pilot never told us why he aborted the first attempt.

One of my first times flying we were on a connecting flight from Raleigh to Richmond. I’m in the very last seat of the airplane with the folks. If there wasn’t 6 babies and little kids around us. Hell on earth I tell you.

Savannah to ATL. Lightning delayed flight. Run 42 miles through ATL airport just to see my plane lifting off. Had to spend the night in ATL. ATL is a shithole.
Then get on board for Lafayette at noon the next day, and plane has no A/C. Had to sit for an hour while they waited for a part for the generator to arrive from the other side of the airport.

Flying United from San Diego to Green Bay with a layover in Los Angeles. As we land in LAX, United's system crashes and we are stuck on the tarmac for about an hour. I thought we were going to miss our connecting flight, but the stewardess reassured me that no United planes were taking off until the system was running again. We finally get off the plane and sprint to our gate to find that the plane hasn't taken off yet...but the doors are closed and they won't let us on. The next flight they can book us on isn't until the next day so we were stuck in an airport about an hour from our house.

I had the middle seat in between 2 obese guys on a regional flight. It was horrible.

coming back from our honeymoon I was super hungover and there was a kid behind me with one of those toys where you shimmy the stick and it swings the cables around and makes a bunch of racket. At one point I think I was rooting for the plane to go down

fair enough but it was the difference in like B4 and B12. I wasn't trying to skip a bunch of people, just wanted to sit down at the same time so we didn't have to make people get up. I wouldn't classify this as trying to do whatever I want
