This is an old video but it seems this happens quite often.

Seems these incels could just become cops what with the shite wages and all. Being a legitimate cop is probably less work than building your own police car and running around town on your own dime.

Fake cop catches his own arrest on his bodycam

If I recall correctly, this dude had a felony on his record or something, which created a barrier to entry. Really bizarre situation.

Fun fact:

in one of the most absurd rulings in scotus history that remains in ruling today, state laws that banned people from impersonating soldiers were ruled unconstitutional on first amendment grounds

Yep, you heard that right, you have a first amendment right to steal valor, according to the high court

Power attracts people and these fricking nerds like that adrenaline rush.

When they get caught it’s usually a huge dose of reality.

A real amateur right here

That makes sense I guess in his case.

There was a kid in Livingston Parish that rolled around in an old cruiser like he was a cop while in high school. IYKYK.

Kid was a fricking weirdo who got bullied. Go figure.

I knew a younger guy, son of a friend, that did this. He was a nice guy and harmless but a real zero. Had a surplus crown victoria with all the lights (changed to orange/white to avoid breaking the law), the pusher bar, blackout tint, etc...

He even belonged to a club of guys near Orlando that did this.

What an odd bunch.

In 1999 I got hit by a car that then knocked me into the I10- I12 construction. Ripped my wheel off, airbags out. Other car took off when I tried to walk up to it.
I call 911 a couple of minutes later a Mitsubishi Eclipse covered in CB radio antennas pulls up. Pops some flares on the road. I ask "are you an officer?" He said " no I was just listening to dispatch ".
He pulled off before police arrived.

This is a great video. I have it on the TV in the background and the guys answers are just great.

Dude is everything. A notary, firemen, process server, k9 trainer, search and rescue, diver, arson investigator, felon, cpr instructor.

He would have fooled me, he's got the right BMI to be a police officer.
