Problem is that the typical media outlets are usually a minimum of 30 minutes behind social media. Fox was pretty on point last night because they had a guy on the ground when the shooting started. That plus they had very eloquent guests and that hot arse Mexican chick

OK. Social media often gets it wrong. That's why the news does not report everything it hears like it's done on social media. But l'll check back in 30 to 60 minutes on the major networks to see if they are really coming to get us.

I have direct experience with this. On more than one occasion and in different cities, black friends I was with have been singled out by police, removed from our group of friends, questioned/ searched and in one case arrested for "suspicion" of dealing dope....even though they had none on them. Cops do harass innocent, law abiding black people.

I don't think any of the white people on here think anyone is coming to get us. In fact, I'd bet a certain percentage would like that element to try to invade their neighborhood.
I live in Mandeville, so it's easier to keep up with both the black families and their movements here.

The guy yesterday was military trained. He was a unicorn. Not saying there aren't more military guys out there that have a beef with police, but there aren't many.

Today my wife had to wait for police to show up to escort them to their vehicles after work. Turned out everything stayed just south of where she was but that is a scary phone call to receive.
I dont trust things will stay peaceful long as groups are being shipped in and the media is poking the fire. I don't own a gun but for the first time I consider getting one to protect my family. The rhetoric of some that they want to take their fight to other neighborhoods should be taken seriously.

Social media had the AR guy cleared via video basically within minutes of the chief saying he was a suspect. Videos work, and a lot of times major news outlets wait for official word to come down

Yea the guy in Bristol TN Thirsday wasn't trained and he only managed to kill one person and wound three others including a cop.

I wouldn't call him safe and responsible just based on the fact that he was walking around a "peaceful" protest with an AR, but he was law-abiding and realized what he needed to do after it all started

All reports say yes. He was exercising his 2nd amendment right and gave his unloaded weapons to police officers immediately after the shooting g started sccording to police and media.
