What's the status of I-10 closures?

I have to drive to BR on Friday night. Any chance the interstate will open before then. I know today traffic is being re-routed on 190. I'm in Houston.

dunno they just closed part of 10 east this morning again in a different spot

What would you recommend someone to do if they are making the drive from Houston / Beaumont / Lake Chuck to BR?

Anyone know if there are any closures East bound on 10 or 12 East of Lafayette? Checked lsp.org and didn't see any, just wanted to see if anyone knew differently.

DOTD and Google both show everything clear this route except one part of 10 right before it meets 90 in Beaumont. I would take 10 to 73 and continue through Port Arthur until it re-meets 10 in Orange. It shouldn't put you too far out.

Your guess is as good as mine. Mermentau is still flooded causing closures on both 10 East and Hwy 90. As far as I know, all traffic was being diverted through Kinder.

I-10 is open all the way to Baton Rouge now. One lane is closed near Crowley.

Yep. Took us 5 hours to go from the LA/TX state line to BR yesterday. That included getting off 190 about 10 Miles past Kinder and taking back roads all the way to 49 at Carecro. 190 is a big rig clusterfrick.

I-10 is open throughout the state as of 0900 this morning. There are still a few locations with lane closures.

As of this morning I-10 is open in Crowley but down to 1 lane.
