That means you are getting bulky instead of toned.

30 units of HGH 5 days a week.

How are you getting that prescribed? TRT is pretty straight forward. HGH seems like it would be a pain.

I know some people in the industry and I'm on my first six month cycle. It's great so far. I was doing TRT to get ahead quicker for six months then swapped.

When I was young soreness was good because it meant I was building something up, now soreness is generally an injury. Getting old has its drawbacks.

It’s kinda like when I was young and would lose weight everyone talked about how good I looked, now when I lose weight they think I’m sick or dying….haha

I laughed at this until about age 45. Now 51, a day of volleyball like we did over Labor Day weekend and it was a bitch Tues, Wed, and Thur. We go hard for 4-5 hours so its definitely something not done regularly; doubt a bunch of alcohol during the day helps either.
Feet get the worse of it nowadays followed by a shoulder thats given trouble off and on since baseball many moons ago.

its the inflammatory response to the muscular damage done when working out (the damage being the point though). It should resolve and occur less often as your body adapts to regular exercise

I have not gotten back into a routine yet as well and the DOMS kick my arse

It is NOT lactic acid buildup like we were all taught in high school - that is only a factor in 'the burn' that you feel in the moment when lifting/exercising. The body clears that very quickly so it is not the cause of soreness the next few days - thats the inflammation.

Stretch, drink lots of water, take the occasional NSAID and continue working out - it will get better. Creatine is also something that could help some.

Then you aren’t working out hard and you’re in a routine. I hurt weekly and workout daily.

I haven't worked out regularly since sometime in college but i remember all the way back in 7th grade when we first started weightlifting year round basically for football that you'd always be sorer the second day after a break from working out than the first

It’s your tendons more so than your muscles that get more sore as you get a little older.

Advice:

Don’t get to be mid 60s- you’re sore at everything and at everybody.
