His house is insane. Very few photos of it but Gossen Architects in Lafayette designed it and there are a few photos there. Supposedly he has the largest underground wine cellar in the South. It's even bigger than the ones in famous restaurants in NOLA. He also has an event barn and ~4,000 guest house on his property. It also sits on the largest plots of land in Lafayette Parish.

Been there for a political event. It’s basically two huge mansions, one mansion is for entertaining, game room, food service. Insane.

Heard it was going on the market for $14mm asking. Don't know how true that is.

His name is Brooks Bernard. His company put up all the security cameras in Lafayette and he operates a security company. He was buddy, buddy with the Guillory administration, and faced a lot of backlash.

Why would you assume that?

That’s a condo, not a house

I know there's a big estate not far from the Covington-Vincent Airport off of Penn Mill Road (not too far from Lake Ramsay). I wonder if that's the house you're talking about, but always assumed it was for some South Shore Move Here trash bag.

You talking about the ski ranch? Very nice property but not overly big house.

And not anything to do with south shore transplants.

According to the state of New York, 11 million can buy you a historic golf course by the beach in Florida.

The Northshore has some absolute PADS but they are mostly hidden from major roads so most people never see them.

There’s one guy who lives on his own private golf course.
