What's the most money you received from a car accident?

Just watch a commercial, girl said she got Gordon and was awarded $70K.
About 5yrs ago a Mexican in a truck without insurance backed into me and I got $600 after deductible. That was to pay for the dent and nothing extra.
Anyone got a big settlement?

Anyone that brags about getting anything beyond medical bills and car repair can eat a dick. There is a reason we have the highest insurance rates in the nation and all you sue happy frickheads are that reason.

Ex-girlfriend got $13,000 for bumping her knee when a car hit us in NO. She said her knee hurt and was a little swollen. A lawyer sent her to a doctor for confirmation of an injury.
Insurance company settled.
My car has never been the same even after the repairs. That’s the real tragedy of the situation.

Wife got like 8k when we first started dating. She was a waitress at the time so she didn't have health insurance. It took almost 2 years until she actually got a check so it basically only covered her medical bills (broken bones) that had piled up.

Buddy of mine out in Bakersfield got 30k after getting T boned by a semi and nearly killed.
Fast forward a few months later and he had already spent half of it on some random piece of arse that he met at Burning man.
She left him 3 weeks later.
fricking clown. I still give him shite to this day.

Insurance claims outside of damage to the vehicle? I had a kid hit me and do $6500 damage to the wife's car. I've never sued anyone though

I once had a case where Gordon’s lawyer father got $8,600,000 for his client. Subsequently and over the years, I had to look at the framed check outside the conference room at their office every time I went there to take a deposition in another matter. That was a lot of money for a car accident.
