I won't say exactly but it was between $50k and $100k withdrawn on my then wife's birthday. Came home and handed her a paper bag and said "Sorry I didn't have time to wrap your gift".

The most cash I've withdrawn from the bank is $10,000.

i added $3500 i had in cash at the house to go buy a truck so the most cash I've held in my hand at one time is $13,500 all in hundreds.

and yes they reported me to the FBI as a possible drug dealer because any transaction of $10k or over requires they notify the IRS and FBI to investigate what you do with your own money

they will also create a file on you and report you to IRS and FBI to investigate if you are making regular cash deposits of $1k or more

so if you got side hustles going like fixing lawn mowers or doing landscaping jobs on weekends try to keep your bank deposts under $1k

My own money? Around $50K a couple of times, and less than that ($10K - $20K) regularly when buying farm equipment / vehicles out of state.

Other people's money? Cashed a $500K check from the sale of a client's house and brought the greenbacks back to the office to put into the safe.

But, the days of cash transactions are quickly fading. I've carried $100 in cash in my wallet for the last two years without spending it.

$37K after selling a rental house.

I only cashed it out to try and have sex with the wife on it. She said no.

I didn't have sex and didn't get to spend the money.

I tried to withdraw 15k once but the branch didn't have that much cash available. The most cash I've held was 40k in shrink wrapped $10 bills.
