I’m finally old enough that I’ve become the “get off my lawn guy” and I hate any colloquialisms that have arisen in the last couple of years. I’m an older millennial and Gen Z kids and their little alpaca fig fluff haircuts annoy me so much.
Some of the dumber terms I’ve heard frequently: bruh, cooked, cooking, lowkey, fiya, cringe, rizz, era, yaasss (often accompanied by the equally annoying “queen”). This is not an exhaustive list but some of the worst ones off the top of my head.
The fact that I had nothing better to do in the last 5 minutes than type all that crap out is more of an indictment on me than Gen Z tho haha. I never thought I’d become the grumpy old man. I know Gen X and Boomers felt the same way about us though and the cycle will continue forever I’m sure.
