350 days

I just change mine when the oil life reaches less than 10%
Posted on 3/31/19 at 7:36 pm to 13SaintTiger
I’ve put 300,000 miles on three different trucks and I often go 20,000 without changing the oil.

I had a Corolla I decided I cared nothing about and just drove it till it stopped.
Think went over a year without an oil change...at least 15k miles. I ended up giving it to a friend and buying a new vehicle. Thing worked for a few years after that as well...fricking last forever thinks

I do a ton of driving for work. I use mobile 1 full synthetic with the extended performance filter rated for 20,000 and change it that often

I change at every 10k but I put those miles on in 3 months. Full synthetic.

3 years on a full synthetic...about 5000 miles.

I change my filter at 5-6k an oil at 12k or so. .
My truck recommends 7500 miles between changes.
My van I do every other month regardless of mileage as it has over 300k on original engine and motor.

This is the OT. I don't change oil, I change cars. Changing the oil is work for the second owner.

Psssh, had a work truck, Tacoma with 114k when I bought it, traded it in with 147k. Never changed the oil, added 3-4 quarts during the 4 years I had it. 2 of those came the day I traded it in cause I was nervous they’d notice somehow. Was prolly still 2 quarts low

15,000. I was getting worried about engine failure, nevertheless it still running good.

I am an OT baller. When it's time to change the oil I just get a new vehicle.

I wait for the “change engine oil” on the DIC and then reset the indicator and add oil as necessary until it looks dark. So, maybe 10K or so. I use high mileage 5w-30 non-synthetic in a 200+K mile 5.3L.

I buy a new car every 3,000 miles.

My first car was an Olds Delta 88 in the mid 80's, and I drove that thing for 2 years and never changed the oil. Just dumped more in there every now and then.

What's funny his how when it was all recommended maintenance that YOU pay for it 3 months 3,000 miles.
But on most of the factory paid maintenance included when you buy your car and THEY pay for it it's up to 1 year 10,000 miles.
What does that tell you?

Toyota recommends full synthetic every 10k miles, so that’s exactly what I do.
