I’m usually a social drinker. Weddings, family get togethers etc. It’s been probably 6 months since I’ve drank anything. I’ve never been a big drinker so not drinking is easy for me. Good luck if you can make it a week, you can make it a month.

Out of 35 years of my life, I've only attributed a total of about maybe 5 hours to alcohol. I tried it and just don't understand it. Most people around me who's lives I've watched that had it, it was a net-negative value in life and my life has been plenty enjoyable and manageable just fine without it.

I was deployed twice for a year. I drank a few times during but went several months without drinking for sure. I'd say the longest was about 4 months.

I can go weeks without a drink. Normally a social drinker. I am gifted a lot of whiskey and have several good unopened bottles aging in my cabinet. I am 37 and the past year I have noticed a real since of limitation of pounding out as much as I did in my 20s and younger 30s.
