I would be embarrassed if I gave up my cash like y’all have, especially in a low rate environment with a rising stock market. I will borrow at 3% all GD day to invest and make 8%+. You baws be proud of your purchases while I sit back and watch the money pile up!

Wrote a check for a little over $40,00 for a car.
Hard cash, the most I can recall is about $2,100 for a diamond many years ago. Cash discount. I felt like I would be robbed any minute after I walked out of the bank with that cash.
My dad sold a tractor for $1,200 when I was a kid, and the buyer gave him 12 $100 bills. That was by far the most money I had ever seen. It was like looking at a bar of gold.
