Come on dude. Really? Think back to when you were four. Do you know any 4 year olds? This is totally unfeasible. I know people look back and say "back when I was a kid blah blah blah" but this is stupid

Yeah, I must have been a dumb little shite because I wasn't trusted to drive the truck/tractors on the farm until I was ten.

Worked with a guy who with a straight face swears he grabbed the barrel of a pistol and bent it down when someone pulled a gun on him at a bar. He says he told the guy, "You don't know who you're messin with son." before he grabbed the barrel and bent it down.

Guy in high school told me that God removed all of the blood from his body as punishment for being a satanist "for a few weeks"
Same guy told me his busted arse 1979 Nova would do 200 mph.
Both said with a straight face.

Carlos Marcellos.
Not a bad theory.
But...likely crap.
Now if you checked how many members of that "family" currently hold, or have held and are waiting to hold again, elected positions from grand isle through BR with stops in every parish in between...you might get a chuckle.
Times havent changed, merely how the game is played.
Whenever there was the whole garbage can trap for elected officials, it was worth a chuckle noting what towns the FBI blatantly avoided.

Youre right...part of my story concerning the year was a mistake.
Just remembered it was the 84 model not the 83. 84 was the two toned long wheel base used for farm work. 83 was the woods truck.
Literally got my own diesel ford ranger when I was six or seven. Which was completely pointless because I didnt learn to drive stick until the following year.

There's been rumors here in Evangeline Parish for years that Marcellos was good friends with a certain physician here and that when the heat from the Feds was getting too high, he would hide out in the local hospital under an assumed name.
Dunno if I believe it or not, but I have heard it many times from many people.

Why is this hard to believe? I have seen it done first hand. Two guys jumped out of a bush when a couple of friends and I were where we shouldn't have been. One guy puts a pistol to my friends neck and another puts a knife to mine. My friend proceeds to grab the stock of the pistol and wrestle this guy to the ground and proceeds to beat the shite out of him. Took the pistol from him and we walked away without being harmed or robbed. My friend is crazy though

A guy told me that he's just got it when it comes to golf. I asked him to explain. He said, and I quote "the first time I ever hit a ball I took my dads clubs to Tamahka, hit a few on the range them played a round. Shot even par 72."
That could never happen, much less at a course that has the most sand in the state.

I once taught a 10 year old (farmer's son) to drive a versatile with a cart on the back to catch from the combine and load the trucks.
Oh yeah, and the tractor didn't have brakes.

A combine...no. But life on land teaches you to do a lot of things early. I used to drive the old 83 ford pickup in the front fields when I was four. Four?
I don't think so Tim.

OT never dissapoints.
quote:
A guy I hadn't seen since high school showed up at my job one day. It had been at least 6 years. I don't think he showed up just to talk to me, but he hung out for an hour or two just shooting the shite. But he also talked about how he was seeing this girl and she was suddenly missing. Said he had just learned that she also had a husband and kids. Just went on and on about how she just up and disappeared.
Couple of weeks later he was arrested for her murder. Apparently he had just done it and stashed her body right before seeing me and was basically running from the cops.
Really weird, he was as calm as could be.
There was a Nightline episode about him.
