I hate driving. New Iberia to Shreveport or Deridder to Florida would be the farthest.

Last summer, I drove round-trip from New Iberia to Shreveport for a doctor appointment. The appointment lasted five minutes. That was my follow up from surgery. I was supposed to go to another one, but I couldn’t motivate myself to drive that distance

Miami to Baton Rouge non stop in a work van. I finished a two week job and drove like hell to get home to my family. Young wife and one year old son. Motivation.

I've done just over 1100 miles in under 24 hours on my motorcycle once.

Back in the early 80's from N.O. to Kosse, TX. then up to Dallas to drop the wife at the time off at her mom's house and then a quick bite and back to N.O. in under 24 hours. Didn't keep track of the mileage but I know it was easily over 1000 miles that day too.

Plenty of long day rides on the motorcycle in the 700+ mile range and 2 for sure from N.O. to Bloomington, IN. for 840 from my door to a friends house.

Drove from Fayetteville NC to Frisco TX. On the regular back around 2013. Always drove straight thru. Think it was about 17 hours.
Also left my first wife in 1998 and drove from Portsmouth NH to Memphis before I pulled over and slept at a rest stop. Then drove to Ponchatoula and went back to active duty.

Des moines to PCB. I also has the bright idea to start in the evening so I'd arrive at the condo check in time the next day. Very stupid and dangerous.

Phoenix to Baton Rouge in January 2004

My dad and I drove straight through so we could catch kickoff of the lsu game at home

1,400 miles. Took I-10 the entire way. Took us roughly 24 hours exactly.

Got home right as Vincent was breaking his big run
