I only dress warm if I’m going to be outside for any length of time.
If I’m just walking from my house to my car and from my car to the store, there’s no reason for me to bundle up.
I don’t get cold for the two minutes it takes to walk inside the building.

I did not have shorts on during the BR blizzard of 2017.
It's not uncommon to wake up to 35 degree weather and by 1 oclock it's 65. I can suck it up in my shorts for a few hours if i'm moving around, to be comfortable later in the day. If i knew the high for the day was like 45, then i wouldn't wear shorts, but you know it's going to get almost 70 degrees come noon most days. I dress for how the day will be at it's warmest, not it's coldest.

I find it more obnoxious when it's in the 50's-60's and people walk around with knee length parkas. It's not that cold. In Louisiana you rarely need anything warmer than a fleece jacket.

In the case of white people, many of us descend from colder latitudes. A lot of us might be more comfortable in cooler temperatures.
That said, I still laugh at the guy wearing sandals and shorts in the winter.

I would say the fact that you’re a tub of lard would lend more credence to the fact that you’re on your arse all day and not your feet.

shows what you know. Most of it is muscle. Us big baws are picking up like 250+ pounds all day every day, which is more than you birdbodies have ever lifted Besides, most of it is what scientists call "brown fat" which stores energy and provides warmth. Kind of like a grizzly bear

This is what I do. I work outside most days and hate wearing jeans and boots. I’d rather tough out the cold for a few hours in shorts and nikes.

I know he mostly trolls but I have to agree with him here. Most manual workers I see aren't the boniest guys.

Do you work outside? If not, there's nothing crazy about wearing short sleeves when you'll only be outside while walking to your car.
