That one your mom drives.

Now ask yourself, best for what.

Best for me laying wood down a dirt road, see above.

Sounds like someone actually listened to the OT and now regrets their purchase.

I paid cash for a 95 F250 last year. I has the legendary 7.2 liter International so you can tow a House with it. It’s a third vehicle so it doesn’t have to be luxurious. I’m not dropping 50k on a truck. I don’t do car notes.

1949 Dodge Power Wagon. Not full of cheap plastic and the term, "Planned Obsolescence" didn't exist.

I was referring to the designs of the engines, drive trains, and body styles, but ok.

You really can’t go wrong with any of the current truck brands, it is just a matter of personal preference. I did a bunch of research before I went with the F150 but mainly because it had everything I needed for a good price. The Tundra has the best resale but it had the worst gas mileage and had the roughest ride. The Ram was the cheapest but has the worst resale. Nothing wrong with the Chevy or GMC but the price point was higher for the amenities I wanted.

It's funny how some people are so brand loyal and will only buy certain trucks. I've driven them all. I bought my first Tundra a month ago. Chevy, Ford and Dodge are all ok trucks built to last 100K miles and then they are going to need maintenance. I just traded a 2014 Silverado that went to shite at 100K. I bought the Tundra because after doing considerable research found that it is the best built and most reliable.

Dodge RAM

Mitsubishi Raider

Subaru Brat

in that order. All much better than what Ford, GM or Toyota put out. Ridgeline is a tranny, a car chassis dressed up as a truck.
