Dyson of a decade ago and Dyson of now are two completely different things. I bought a v15 a few years ago and it’s garbage. I will not buy another Dyson.

Agreed. Dyson overpriced and don't really do anything better than the Chinese knockoff.

I use this one from Amazon. Fantastic suction power, easy to disassemble to clean, great battery life.

Customer service needed in the frick you department

-An old gf of mine would say as a prank* over the PA system at K-Mart when she worked there in HS.

*anytime assistance was needed there for anything vacuum cleaner-related.

Can't do the cheap chinese stuff. The batteries just never last.

We use Dyson rechargeable for everyday use. Still have a Dyson upright that is 25 years old, still going strong.

The shark with a automatic hair removal beater bar is a great option. I will never have to clean a beater bar again.

Brother, if your Dyson lasted you six years, that’s durability.

I actually have a Dyson Upright "Ball" that has to be pushing 20 years old.

Its not as good as it was, but it does still work.

Lightweight, about a 30 minute battery, and good suction. Oh......it's expensive.

I bought a Levoit LVAC-200 Essential two years ago. All my floors are hardwood or tile. It does ok on the few throw rugs I have. Great for getting up pet hair and it was only $139 on Amazon. Battery life 30-60 minutes depending on the speed. Easy recharge.
