Our Dyson animal just broke again and after 6 years, it’s time for a one.

Any recs for a one stop shop for hardwood, rugs and carpet?

We went from a Dyson to a shark and have no complaints. I like the tangle free brush head.

Just switched over to the Bissell power clean furfinder. It’s been great. My 2 labs shed like crazy.

Had the shark before but the battery always died quick

I bought a commercial hotel maids vacuum online and that thing lasted 15 years.

I had a Dyson but switched to a Kenmore Intuition BU4050. (Dont really like the color but I cared more about how the vacuum performed).

Wait, you’re supposed to vacuum?

Brother, if your Dyson lasted you six years, that’s durability. There really is no substitute. FWIW I have one as well.

This is the best vacuum for "quick" clean ups --- and for baseboards and crown molding.

Lightweight, about a 30 minute battery, and good suction. Oh, and it's a Dyson, so it's expensive. But there is nothing else in the market that I could find that comes close.

And that damn little neon green light --- it's amazing how much dust and whatever else in on the floor.

I also have another cordless Dyson for heavier duty jobs --- all of my floors are either wood, or tile. Not having an electrical cord is nice --- no restrictions, other than about a 60 minute battery.

This. Don't why people waste money on a Dyson or Shark when you can buy a commercial-grade machine for the same if not less money. Some are more expensive too but a good commercial-grade grade Sanitair multi-surface will be cheaper than a Dyson, work better, run quieter, and last 20 years.
