Im not wortied about being indicted, my kids are about 25 percent NA, thinking it will help getting into college one day.. her grandmother was full blown, but back then they didnt want anyone to know and she didnt belong to a tribe or anything.., so im thinking a dna test will be the only chance of proving anything..

STOP Don't do it. I've posted before that a friend found out his family keep the secret from him that his dad WASN'T HIS DAD. Besides the info you leave behind might incriminate you or find out you have a kid from your college days. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. RUN.

The legitimate way to get onto an Indian role is to research your ancestors all the way back to someone who was on the Dawes roll. You have to provide death and birth certificates all the way back to someone who was on the actual Dawes roll, or if you hit someone on the indian roll first.
When I enrolled in the chickasaw tribe, I had to go back 5 generations. My father, grandmother, great grand mother, great great, and triple great. Triple great was the 100% and I am 1/32. As far as indian benefits, 1/1000 gets the same benefits as 100% indian. A DNA test kit does you no good to get onto an indian roll.
