I have had a fake tree for the last 10 years. I no longer have the tree and don't want to get a new fake tree just yet. Haven't had a real tree in years.
Was wondering what a 6.5'- 7' decent tree goes for?

Depends on which type of tree.

Got a 7.5 foot frasier fir for $80 in Houma but that does not include a stand for it. Kept mine from last year and re-used it.

We spent 265 for a 9.5 ft tree at the same lot we always get trees at. Pollards in Lafayette. The pinhook location.

14 foot @ GSOM
$460+ tax and I tipped cash when they delivered it.
We use them every year we bought a stand once we bring it back when we go pick out the tree.

Plenty of places on the northshore. This year we went to Country Pines Tree Farm, but usually go to Tiger Branch. But there's 7 or 8 between Baton Rouge and east to MS. There are also several good ones south of McComb just across the state line.

Kind of forced into a monopoly here but 400$ for 11 ft Fraser fir from NC mountains. Bring stand to them from last year, they trim tree, put stand on and deliver to your house. It’s a luxury splurge but I just can’t do fake trees

I did see a new place this year, will have to see if they are around next year to compare prices
