Probably suicide. He's a dead man in prison. He has ruined his life even if he somehow escapes doing time.

True..... but he is the kind of cop that thinks he is above the law and can do what he wants. What he did was bad enough. What pisses me off more is that there were three otjer cops just standing there doing nothing while they could have helped get the handcuffed suspect in the car.

They’re already given vast discretion. He fricked up. They might not convict him for murder, but he’ll get manslaughter at least.
