What's going through Officer Derek Chauvin's mind right now you think?

His life is pretty much over. Charges should be coming very soon and there probably isn't a single jury in this country that would not convict him. How exactly does one prepare to spend multiple years behind bars? Will he even survive prison?

At this point he's probably praying that the Medical Examiner will find something that will help explain the death. He's done as a LEO but can perhaps avoid prison if there was a reason.
He's also likely thinking about where he'd like to relocate if that happens.

Not sure why unless they are formally charging. On the surface people in MN will rejoice but will make it worse if he is catch and release.
