Oh my god, this.

Bland, uninteresting crap. W&J joke about other morning shows being "the laughers" i.e. unfunny on-air personalities who sit around laughing hysterically at their own jokes. They play the TV-online live version on TV in DC and it's like nails on a chalkboard.

Sad, I was going to post that todays show is a rerun and they are playing the same segments over again, and that explains it.

They had a good run.

His medical issues were too numerous to overcome. He had been receiving treatment over the last month but continued to suffer. He made the decision to return home yesterday and spend his last hours with his family. He went out on his own terms. John passed away last night around 11:55 PM - July 1st, 2019.

Respects. This was an iconic show. I'll miss hearing him on the radio every morning.

I think Walton had a family member suffer from cancer(?), and he often railed on air about the disease and the treatments for the disease, stating it was a money making big business.

I don't want to speculate, but I hope he didn't suffer from some form of cancer.

I remember they used to make fun of Kidd Kraddick a lot saying he was a woman and stuff. Then the guy died and they continued to joke about him. Jokes on them now.

I dont think he would have it any other way

People like that when they're dying usually tell people not to mourn but to throw a party

I just can't take the new guy. Sad to say I'm done with the show. He is too upbeat and has fake enthusiasm. That's such a departure from the jaded Walton. When I'm have awake I don't want to listen to an overly joyful guy that over-enunciates words.

W&J ruined me for "the laughers."

Heard a guy on a sports station a few days ago practically shite his pants. The guy running the board played "Black Magic Woman" because he said something about a baseball player named Santana- oh God LMAO what a gut-buster... Santana like the guitarist har har.

"The Kimmer" used to be an offender, too, but I think he's off the air now.
