I seem to remember the schaabs (sp?) had a precursor to new gen downtown in early 70s
I purchased some bootleg 8 track tapes from them of commercial albums.
I think they finally got popped for those.
Which one of the female rockers would the late Rush Limbaugh say something to the effect that he would risk getting a disease from?

the problem is that anyone can identify you with your home address by going to qrz.com.

You use a post office box address for your fcc license (the address qrz pulls from) and you’re good.
If you don’t have a P.O. Box might consider a cheap one for such things.

See the OT board for discussion on this
I posted my thoughts there
Former Slu employee/retiree here,
The water cooler talk is ransomware/hack ,
Whatever it is is powerful since we had on-site and off site system backups and nothings been restored yet.
It’s ironic because the powers there removed all retirees Slu email accounts since “we would be more prone to click on malicious links”
However when I was still there the intrusions came from active employees clicking on the bad stuff. I’m sure that may be where this came from
Hungarian Stuffed Cabbage
Bread Sticks
55 Chevy belaire 6 cyl
65 mustang sedan 6 cyl
64 Chevy step side pickup restomod
76 duster 340 was restoring my first resto attempt didn’t know a lot about cars and the guy who sold it to me ripped me off the car was a dog
93 mustang lx convertible was a strong running car sold it to a coworker and his daughter wrecked it soon after
Finally a white Miata conv with the removable hard top(I know the disdain for Miata’s here)

oudchaux's in Baton Rouge...both Main Street and Cortana----when you walked in, you could hear a very high pitch ringing. Somebody once told me that was part of the security system but I don't know if that's true

Could have been.
I worked for a BR alarm central station in the 70s and they installed domed shaped ultrasonic motion detectors in their systems .
If one of the detectors got a little flaky or insects got trapped in the dome they would emit that high pitched whine.

There was a Gibsons in Hammond way back when.
My parent’s bought my first electric guitar and amplifier for $30 from there.
Good times.
Same truck model and year here
We’ve gone through 3 blend doors for same issue
Not BR but Hammond has Blackwells and s place byy the bowling alley across from Albertsons
Interesting. I know when I lived there we didn’t throw our emptys away but took them to recycle at local grocery stores.
I wonder what’s happened to all those recycled bottles?
And even better are the vehicles with remote start that turn on the heated seats and heater and defrosters depending upon outside temp.
Everything warm and toasty when you get in the vehicle.
