When my youngest was in 2nd ? grade he came home saying he was writing cursive. I swear I had never heard that word and thought his class had gotten pen pals and he was writing someone named Cursive.

I thought Geddy Lee of Rush was a chick for the longest time

I thought Huey Lewis was black until recently. Thought his voice was too good and rich to be a white guy haha

In that same vain I thought Bobby Caldwell (What you won't do for love singer) was black until a couple of years ago.

I recently learned that the black part of a Yeti cup lid is a magnet and can be removed and reattached so that you can clean under it. Genius.
