I've seen that commercial with a few different people and every one of them commented on how irritating it is. Apple definitely missed the mark with this one.

I know absolutely no one who doesn't at the very least roll their eyes at that commercial.
What makes marketers think that irritating people and making them scoff and curse at the TV will sell anything? I don't buy into the whole "It made you notice" argument. I will be far more likely to purposefully NOT buy a product if the commercial irritates me.
