I was purchasing two $30 tickets.
At check out the total was $90.
$20 service fee
$6 facility charge
$4 processing fee
What the crap?

The fees on all the after market sites are insane.

Stubhub sucks for expensive tickets as well. I paid a shite ton in fees for the Saints-Eagles playoff game

Stubhub used to be great, but at some point their fees became progressive with price. So if you’re getting a couple expensive tickets, the fees are out of control. My Super Bowl tickets in Houston had $700 worth of fees attached.

for sports, tickpick.com, zero fees
anybody who posts vivid or stubhub are tards. Those sites charge you, the buyer, per ticket fees, and will have a premium charge per ticket for games considered rivalries.
So like i said, people who post stubhub, vivid, etc=tards

I’ll remember that for sports.
What about concerts?
What about concerts?

Pretty simple. I have chosen to forego live events anymore especially if all of the tickets are purchased by ticketmaster or one of the other con sites.
I understand this is not what you're looking for, but the fewer people buying tickets is the only way it will get fixed at this point.
Anyways, at home, the beer is cheaper, the restrooms cleaner, the food is better, the traffic doesn't exist and I don't have to be around one person if I don't want to.
Concerts are one huge caveat to this logic. If you wanna go, you gotta pay the piper.

The venue itself. Most use ticketmaster as their ticketing service though....SOOOOOO, it might not be a whole lot cheaper in person.
Stubhub, vivid, seatgeek, etc....are all resellers, they don't have any actual seats.

Pearl Jam tried.
Yeah, I went to a show out at City Park in Nola when they tried that. It was a cluster fck.
I do wish someone would try something again to really compete with ticket master. It's just gotten stupid with their fees.
