Alleviating crime and poverty in black neighborhoods.
Not lighting it on fire for a vanity project like global warming or pretending I give a shite about dirt farmers overseas. We have plenty of shite needing fixed here

Anything animal related.
No fricking way would I do anything to help the homeless. Most of them are that way by choice (gutter punks), or by poor choices they've made in life.
I'd only help those that are absolutely helpless and can't help themselves, so animals and children.

More high school counselors. And better training for current ones.
My school of almost 2,000 had one lady. Freshman class size was 600+, 349 graduated. So she dealt with people who were trying to get accepted to excellent colleges and those who wanted to drop out of 10th grade.

I'd build small gyms near truck stops - literally nowhere for those folks to go to exercise, hence the obesity.

I'd go along with this.
I'd add helping out people who suffered paralysis.

there is a company building prosthetics using a 3d printer that is pretty badass. There was a video of them giving one to a kid and had Downey Jr give it to him as Tony Stark.

I'm already on the board for a small animal shelter. I would love to expand it to where we could collect enough donations to be able to disperse to small cities around the state to help build good shelters and awareness in those areas. We are completely non-profit and full volunteers so no one gets paid. You would have to vet and find good volunteers in every city you start up at to be able to feed and clean the shelter when the animal control can't.

I would give LSU a big enough donation for the Orgeron buyout.

Veterans, guys and gals put their arse on the line for us. I give to them now, but if I had serious money, I would donate some serious bank to them. And it would not all be to the various organizations, I am talking directly to the Vet in need. Go in and fix a their house for those that had been paralyzed, give them everything I could get my hands on to make their homes more livable.

How would you go about this? Honest question.
In my experience, I do a lot of work in low income neighborhoods and about 95% are great people who can't get out, the other 5% are garbage that just wants the world to burn. They don't have anything and don't want anyone else to have anything.
I would love to see a city start an experiment in a high percentage welfare area. 1. take over a few defunct properties, 2. bring in welfare people with building experience to help the city renovate the properties into daycare facilities. 3. train other welfare people to run the daycare facilities for other welfare families to have a place to take their kids as long as they keep a job for a few years.
I would be curious if that would help people get on their feet and off the welfare system in a proper way.

I'm absolutely with you on this one too. Apparently it looks good to give shite tons of money overseas but there is an awful lot of things that need fixing bad and that money could go a long way if utilized properly.
