I am also still confounded by the whole issue with gentrification. You have two options. Money can be invested in an area that drives up the cost of living while also making things very nice. The other option is to leave an area as a shithole and keep the cost of living down.

The comments on that video actually give me a glimmer of hope for our future. There's NONE in support of the BLM folks, at least not any in the top 100 or so liked.
What kind of entitled assholes do this shite? What did they want the ice-cream-eaters to do when they marched by to show them respect? Get down on their hands and knees and lick their shoes clean? Dump their ice cream in the trash and jump over the fence to join them?
We have to stop placating these little shits and letting them get away with whatever they want, they're just like spoiled children. I'm not saying I would've done anything to fight them or anything, but I would've sat there staring at them making awkward eye contact while I slowly ate my ice cream.

Considering the videographer keeps going with the march and not the ice cream eaters, itd probably be safe to say that they cut the video to make it look good for the cause. Id say its more likely that someone from the crew said something first because of this.
