Pay off my debt. Pay off my parents debt. Put 100k in the bank. Invest the rest.

How comfortably can you really live?

I'd pay off nothing, invest all of it and put the interest back into it and just keep doing that in hopes that I could eventually retire a good bit earlier than planned.

Boring answer, I know.

Set aside enough to pay off my student loan debt + interest. Invest the rest.

Put it all on The New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl (2 to 1 odds).

Pay off both vehicles and new home. Get a pool to make the wife happy and a very modest camp for myself. The rest in the bank

A million dollars isn't what it used to be. Better invest it. I'm nearing retirement. Would be a nice boost to what I already have saved.

I would go on a coke binge with a ton of hookers in some Scandinavian country. Then waste the rest.

Buy a new house and pay it off in full, pay off the rest of my debt which isn't a ton and then invest what is left. I'd be able to save a good chunk every month with no mortgage or car notes or student loan payments. I could build up a nice savings over the next 10-15 years to retire early and do lots of traveling.
