Mine works out a lot and is on a bunch of non profit boards. She does some pro bono legal work too for conservatorship for poor people who have disabled kids approaching 18.

That’s not the issue. With all of the school and home stuff there’s plenty to.
The struggle is what do they do once the kids are mobile and don’t need around the clock supervision. Don’t count on them ever going back to work.
