Kick them out for what reason? It's not like you are going to find a replacement tenant.
I'd suggest landlords start the discussion with tenants now to start working out reasonable plans to have in place.

Meh, FedGov has done all it can do to promote consumerism and punished savers for a while now.

That might be the bottom layers of this Jenga tower but if enough of those pieces get pulled the whole thing is going to crumble.

I think people are realizing how vulnerable their business is even if they can work from home
The market crashing and less money in the economy affects everyone. My neighborhood will drastically change if the bars and restaurants that made it popular end up closing.

$1000 dollars a month after missing two paychecks was going to save us

It’s never going away. Like swine flu and TB
We are going to mitigate it as best we can and then just accept that some people will die from it. Crashing the economy isn’t the answer and literally no data backs up the claim that any of these steps are necessary

It'll be interesting to see who amongst us will be calling for more government aid and money when the savings accounts that people worked so hard to save up go dangerously close to empty.

and think about people who run a business with all that revenue drying up b/c other people can't work
i need about 9k/month to net 36k/year (this is after taxes of course) b/c the split is always right at 33% net income, 33% overhead/costs, 33% taxes
that may not be the same breakdown everywhere, but there will be a breakdown that requires a multiplier, so every revenue stream lost hurts more than just that single amount. there's also kind of a minimum of revenue required or else it's pointless. if i can't pay my expenses, then all the revenue i did collect is worthless

Yeah, but my high school classmate nurse Bayleigh says if we just do our part and stay indoors for two weeks this will go away

My paycheck will be there unaffected by this mess. A few million can't say that.
It takes a God damned moron to defend the Democrats today.

let’s say you have six months
Great. Doesn’t really mean shite if the economy is in the shitter or your business is a third the value of what it was and you’ll be laid off. But I can work from home!

People are working under the the assumption that if they lose their job, they will get it back in 2-3 months in a "worst case scenario". These are your saver, Dave Ramsey types.
That job is gone, sir

They already stated no one is getting evicted during this time and no houses would be foreclosed on
