The quality of posters has nosedived from what it use to be. Is Dad up and around still, does anyone know? That guy was the go to man for everything.

Definitely think we have lost the college kids on here. When I started posting it seems like we had alot of college kids. I saw freshman kids start on here and then would see that they were graduating. I was on alot at nights and always knew when it was finals time. Many drunk threads were started about bogie's or freds etc. I guess the apps and social media killed that crowd on here. Also the late night crew is pretty much all gone except for a select few.

Dont know tbh, I myself dont spend near as much time on TD especially the OT as I use to. Despite what it says I've been on here since 05, which is crazy to think about. Did too much drunk posting back in the day that cost me some profiles
The heyday was 05 to probably 10-12 as far as across the board quality. Only thing I come to the OT for now is to check for any breaking news reports.

Lsu nurse would be a head hunter on the new LLOTOT. She has humbled up now. I remember jet12, peaches, dev, Rome, lsugrrl, were all in college at the time they posted. Also team 31 gave me hell at night sometimes because I wasn't into the LNST. All were good guys though

I registered in 2008, but lurked a while before then. Look at my lower post count compared to so many posters who started before or even after me. I don't post very often. But I still seem to spend hours a day on here every day.
2008-2012 seemed like the better quality of posts. However, as someone said on here.. news hits here even before the AP press gets their hands on it many times.
I remember, though this wasn't in that time frame, stay up late at night early morning talking to GEAUXmedic while watching the Russians and Ukraine Military shoot at people burning buses and tires while throwing cocktails.. all in the name of getting control of the government.
