Thinking i'd be clever when I picked my TD user name. I've regretted it ever since. It was a long way to acceptance but I think I've learned to cope.

4/1/17

Spent 4 days sleeping in a little cell naked on the concrete floor with gaurds blaring Elton John all through the night. When they fed me I had to eat with my fricking hands. Wouldn't even let me brush my teeth.

Went 11 months sober after that, just smoke some weed here and there and have a few beers on the weekend only. Stay away from liquor and cocaine now.

Nope.

That's was why I was sentenced.

Junior year of college, spring semester. I was just cut from the football team. Working on campus with the landscaping crew(which I hated). Was in probably my hardest semester of college classes wise. Recently got out of a relationship. Messed up my chances with like 3 different girls that I wanted. Most of all I was still grieving my dad whom I just lost almost a year earlier.

One Friday night when all of my friends, I bought a large Dominos Pizza, 6 pack of Miller Lite, as well as a tub of ice cream. I cut on Netflix, and I got through the pizza, beer and ice cream all in one night. I had work at 8 am the next day. I showed up to work at 12 and was promptly fired.

It was about a week later when I met the girl who would eventually become my wife. I'm not overreacting when I say I really do think she saved my life. I was depressed. Whereas my friends would give me some alcohol or encourage me to find a female to bag in order to cope, she actually helped me want to become a better person. Not to mention she was the one who encouraged me to go to counseling.

I'm under 250 and hope to be under 200 by the end of the year. I drink good scotch and bourbon now, and not near daily. On the rare occasion I go to a bar, I may smoke. I do enjoy a couple of cigars a month. I'm married, a home owner, and I'll finish grad school this year.

Eta: I'm also a much happier person, which is most the important thing.

I went through a really rough time the first 6 months of 2017. I was working long hours struggling to make ends meet, I would fight with my son’s mom every day about money, slept on the couch while she cried herself to sleep. Started doing hard drugs like coke and exstacy. At one time I did 21 exstacy polls in one weekend and I remember being in my car feeling like my chest was going to cave in just crying out that I didn’t want to die. My ex found out I was selling drugs, and left me and starting fricking dudes and sending me pictures. She kicked me out of my own apartment, I wanted to kick her arse out but I care about my son and know they needed a place to stay and it was my fault. I made just enough money for her to live there.

I realized that I could lose my son so I quit drugs cold turkey and went and got a better job and my own place. I moved on from that stupid bitch who kicked me while I was down and bled me out. I also went and got a new bitch.

TLDR/ cool story bro, but that’s my story and it was all my fault honestly.

You deserved it.

You were selling drugs out the house her son lived.

Why are you trying to cast her in a bad light?

I admit fault for the choices I have made, and I did deserve that. You guys don’t know her though... I’ve given her everything she has asked for since then to help out. She tried to force me to break up with my current girlfriend threatening to take my son away if I don’t. Sending hateful messages to her all the time. I work on boats 28/14 and she won’t hardly potty train my son at all when I’m gone, he’s almost 5. I can’t do it by myself. I have a reason these days to dislike her.
