Spent 4 days sleeping in a little cell naked on the concrete floor with gaurds blaring Elton John all through the night. When they fed me I had to eat with my fricking hands. Wouldn't even let me brush my teeth.

sounds lie suicide watch...minus the Elton John anyway.

Spring 2012. Weighed over 400 pounds, spent most days with a bottle of whiskey, smoked a pack of Marlboro a day, and almost failed out college. Things are much better now

You finally failed out and don't have to deal with those bullshite classes, huh?

Lost job, home, most of my possessions.

Had to start over.

Me, I had found that I drink way to much. I'm retired. I am NOT suppose to drink at all. Not suppose to take in more then 1500 cc of fluid a day.

At this point as it's been. I live day to day for the last 10 years. In that time, I had many family die including my only son. I welcome death every day. There is very little that gives me joy in life anymore other then my wife of 40 years to be, my daughter and SIL and grandson. That is the only reason I haven't took my life.

To be honest, those sound like pretty compelling reasons to keep at it.

Hang in there, fishfighter.

Go fishin' and keep up the good fight.

Sorry about the loss of your son and family, sir.

I realized yesterday that if I died, I might have 10-20 people at my funeral. I might as well not exist.

No matter how wealthy or famous a person is, the number of people attending his funeral will still depend on the weather.
