I was 9. Life was care free, but I didn’t have nap time anymore so life was also not as cool as it was when I was 5.

where were you living? In a large house with 3 to 4 other roommates.
what were you doing? Studying biochemistry at LSU. I commuted through the never ending shite show of construction on 1-12. I parked in the Kirby smith lot because the walk through the oak grove and amphitheater was so pleasant. After class I’d head straight to work at a pharmacy.
what was your life trajectory? In 2002- Med school. Changed my mind the next year.

Working my arse off.
Loving my children, albeit not seeing them often enough.
Body being beaten down by frequent time changes.
Lest I be an a-hole, loving and missing my wife, but that's kind of a given (if one solely mentions they miss their children, some may think....).

Spent 21 days in jail that year, two weeks in rehab and still didn't stop drinking.

Graduated at LSU... kept going to school and got a masters because I didn’t want to grow up or leave LSU

Got married in 2002. First half of year was spent planning the wedding and buying a house. 2nd half of the year was being newlyweds with a fair amount of disposable income and using it to update the home we bought out of foreclosure.
Pretty solid year, overall.

Sophomore year at Yale, was all downhill from there. Probably in a bar in New Haven watching Super Bowl whatever it was.
